Charles T. Mathews

Charles “Ted” Mathews is a multimillion dollar award-winning trial lawyer, primarily representing plaintiffs individually and in class actions against large corporations and government institutions. Mr. Mathews has obtained over $60 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients and has tried hundreds of jury trials.
Mr. Mathews began his legal career as a Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney where gained incredible trial skills and the ability to connect with jurors at all stages of a trial. He then worked as an attorney for Texaco, Inc., where he actively litigated the company’s highest risk cases and advised on litigation avoidance strategies. Mr. Mathews then moved on to be the Regional Counsel for Coldwell, Banker & Co., where he further gained insight into how top decision-makers at large companies operate and what they care about. In 1980, Mr. Mathews entered private practice and has been built a reputation based on his zealous advocacy and numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
